Analysis on the Educational Role and Practical Path of Counselors in Junior Colleges in the New Era

摘要

In the new era of vocational education reform, higher vocational colleges shoulder the core mission of cultivating highquality technical and skilled talents for social and economic development. As the frontline educators and managers of college students, counselors are the key force in implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. Based on the background of the new era’s vocational education system construction, this paper systematically sorts out the core educational functions of counselors in junior colleges, analyzes the practical dilemmas in current educational work, such as ambiguous role positioning, single educational method, fragmented educational mechanism and insufffcient professional literacy. Combined with the educational characteristics of vocational colleges and the growth laws of vocational students, this paper explores feasible and innovative practical paths for counselor education, aiming to improve the effectiveness, pertinence and systematicness of vocational college education work, and provide theoretical reference and practical enlightenment for optimizing the counselor education system in higher vocational colleges.
