Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Yibo Research & Academic Press has clear formatting requirements for submitted manuscripts to ensure the standardization of the publishing process and the professionalism of articles. Below are our submission guidelines:

1.Cover Page: It shall include the following information: title (in both Chinese and English), author name(s) (in both Chinese and English), author biography (within 100 Chinese characters), affiliated institution(s) (in both Chinese and English), correspondence address, contact phone number, and Email address.

2.Main Text: It shall not contain any author information to facilitate anonymous peer review. The main text should include sections such as title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references.

3.Word Count: The suggested word count for submitted manuscripts (including figures, tables, and references) is between 5,000 and 8,000 words.

4.Title, Abstract, and Keywords:

  • The title shall be concise and clear, with no more than 20 Chinese characters.
  • The abstract shall include the research purpose, methodology, results, and conclusion; the Chinese abstract should be approximately 300 Chinese characters.
  • 2 to 5 keywords shall be provided.

5.Main Text Format:

Use legal units of measurement, symbols, as well as standardized and normalized nouns and terms.

Heading levels shall be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals, e.g., "1", "1.1", "1.1.1", etc.

Tables shall have titles in both Chinese and English (e.g., "(Table 1.……)") and shall use three-line tables whenever possible.

Illustrations shall have captions in both Chinese and English (e.g., " (Figure 1.……)"), and captions shall be placed below the illustrations.

6.Citation Marking: Use the superscripted square bracket format, e.g., "……model [3]".

Numbers and Statistical Symbols: Arabic numerals shall be used in general; years shall be expressed with 4 digits. Statistical symbols shall be presented in italics unless specified otherwise.

7.Notes: Annotations for specific terms or new terms may be placed at the bottom of the page (page-end notes) or at the end of the article (article-end notes).

8.Abbreviations: Abbreviations published by authoritative institutions or academic organizations shall be used. When an abbreviation appears for the first time, a clear definition shall be provided.

9.References:

Each reference in the reference list shall be cited in the main text and marked with a serial number.

References shall be key sources that the author has read personally; unpublished materials shall not be cited.

The reference list shall be placed after the main text and arranged in the order of their appearance in the text.

Serial numbers of references shall be left-aligned, expressed with numbers plus square brackets, e.g., [1], [2], … .

10.Acknowledgements: After the conclusion, thanks shall be extended to funders, supporters, those who provided assistance, etc.

11.Appendices: If necessary, appendices shall be placed after the references, and their formatting shall be consistent with that of the main text.
